fulfilment of achievement in life.
Ceri, through warmth, compassion and understanding offers a peaceful,
safe space for your confidential and open expression. Ceri will take in
and hear what your challenges are, what you want to achieve and what you want from your therapy.
Ceri knows and fully understands how life can be challenging, demanding, difficult and downright miserable on occasion.
Asking for help is a sign of strength. Whether you’re experiencing anxiety, depression or need help managing stress, work issues or
relationship problems – admitting you can’t do everything on your own is the first step to achieving wellness and living life to its full potential. The way in which we cope in the world is greatly influenced by how we see the world. Asking for help, and obtaining a fresh perspective is often the first and most profound step towards developing the mental muscle to become stronger, to become better equipped to take on bigger challenges and achieve more successes.
It is never too late.
This is where Ceri comes in. Ceri trained and works as a person centred, mindfulness therapist. The person centred approach is much less directive enabling you to begin to recognise and develop your own inner resources. They are present within you but may have become entangled, buried or distorted through challenging life experiences. Through person centred therapy the journey is an exploration with Ceri at your side working together to unravel the knots and reveal who you are really meant to be.
There’s a strong perception in society that people should “just get on with it” especially for males across an extensive age range “to man up” to never express emotions. This can make opening up harder – silence seems the easier option but can end up going to deeper depths of despair. The message society gives is “staying tough” it does not have to be that way.
No one need know therapy is being undertaken other than by you and your therapist.
Maybe it’s time to stop keeping things bottled up and be really courageous to face the problems, face the pain that you’re suffering. This is deserved self care.
Ceri’s life experiences come from a long, successful career in corporate life in The City of London coupled with being a fully trained massage therapist. It was this that led Ceri to train and study further as a therapist in talking therapies.
